British aerospace firm invests ₱2 Billion in Batangas

The Philippine unit of British firm B/E Aerospace is investing around 2 billion to manufacture aircraft galleys at the First Philippine Industrial Park in Batangas.

De Lima said the British company is making a 700 million investment in addition to the initial investment of over 1 billion.

The project is expected to generate around 143 jobs.

British Aerospace is the world's leading distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables for the commercial, business jet and military markets. B/E Aerospace manufactured products include aircraft cabin seating, lighting, oxygen, and food and beverage preparation and storage equipment.

The company also provides cabin interior design, reconfiguration and passenger-to-freighter conversion services.
